27 - Day At The Office My sister gave us a bouncing harness thingie for Matthew that you hang from the door and sit him in and he bounces around in. I set it up over the weekend, and tonight he got his first real go in it. It took him a while to get the hang of it, but soon he was bouncing up and down a little, smiling up at us and gurgling. He giggles and gurgles more and more each day. Damn child'll be talking back to his Dad soon! I'm in a wonderfully good mood. Surprisingly for a first day back at work after a long weekend. Work did go well, which is a rarity, so that must be it. I had this huge pile in my in-tray. There was about four weeks of stuff, and each new week I had turned that week's stuff 90 degrees from the week previous. It had been depressing me, looking at this unruly pile growing bigger. So I spent most of the day going through it, and it's now manageable. It is so therapeutic throwing stuff into the rubbish bin. Moving it from the "have to deal with it at some stage" segment of my consciousness to the "no longer give a fuck about it" part of said consciousness.
